MEET IVYERS

Wenshu Yao Education Manager China I always have the freedom to use my imagination with a lot of wonderful challenges and opportunities.

Background
Wenshu joined Ivy in 2005 as a Chinese teacher after graduating with an Early Childhood Degree (ECE) from the Beijing Normal University in Beijing. Currently, she works as an Education Manager of Ivy Group.

What is your role?
My job is developing Ivy Curriculum and year round teacher training workshops, to assure high quality programs at all of our campuses. We also provide parent education in various ways such as parent presentations and workshops.

What do you like about working at Ivy?
Ivy maintains a set of core values about how young children learn and how they deserve to be treated. Staff at Ivy schools embrace and nurture the unique perspectives of young minds. I believe that this is the most important thing for an education organization. I share this philosophy with all my colleagues at Ivy, and I believe our educational practices enable children to manifest and develop fully their potentials, interests, abilities, and strengths. As an educator, I feel that a child’s happiness and growth is the source of my pleasure. Also, I am very happy to work in such a relaxed, cozy, and professional atmosphere, where I always have the freedom to use my imagination with a lot of wonderful challenges and opportunities. I can always reach beyond myself and enrich myself.
